The owner of Fred Martin Chevrolet is hoping he’ll get a letter this week from General Motors telling him his franchise will be reinstated.

Officials in Maryland say a Baltimore County woman is in jail on charges she paid a man $9,000 to kill her husband at his gas station. Karla Porter is also accused of enlisting four other people, including her sister, in the plot.
